Discussion of the draft law on the Ministry of Internal Affairs continued at the plenary session of the parliament today. The peak of the parliamentary debate was an amendment supplementing the provisions on the control of the Department A1 of the Supreme Court over the conditions for the participation of combinations in national elections, an additional provision, that is, on a bloc in the “Cassidiari party”.

In favor of the amendment, during its deliberations in the competent committee, N.D. Tsipras: “You become the best sponsors of the Kasidiari party”

During the debate at the plenary session, the President of SYRIZA-PS also took the floor. He also accused the government of contacting the judges and stated that the government was becoming “the best sponsor of the Kasidiari party”.

He then emphasized that the institutional response to fascism must be clear and called on the government to pass a law that would not violate the Constitution by accepting the SYRIZA proposal.

Voridis Tsiprasou: ‘Vote for position, otherwise you will be heavily exposed’
