From the production of May 2023 Lexus LC The coupe and cabriolet will be updated with what the Japanese manufacturer calls the “2024 model”: in particular, we will find updated equipment or even new colors and new interior upholstery.

All models in the Lexus LC range will soon benefit from these new features: the LC 500h Coupé with a 3.5-litre hybrid V6, not forgetting the LC 500 Coupé and Cabriolet, and their 5.0-litre V8 engine.

Lexus LC: new configuration

One of the most important innovations of this new version will be the appearance of a new multimedia system equipped with a Touch screen 12.3 inches high definition, which replaces the previous 10-in. It has connected GPS navigation, voice assistant, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and can connect to a smartphone app to lock or unlock the car and remotely adjust the air conditioning.

On board there is a new, more ergonomic central console, as well as new speakers in the audio system Mark Levinson Surround Sound System. Customers can choose new upholsterysuch as blue and white leather or garnet red interior.

Two new body colors also appear: blue sapphire, light blue with highly contrasting reflections, or a copper style with red reflections. Two new alloy wheels also complete the customization options: a 21-inch model with a 3D finish or a second 21-inch model with a two-tone black and “hyper chrome” finish.

Lexus LC: technical improvements

As standard equipment, the new Lexus LC is equipped with a 360° all-round view system, as well as a set of safety systems called Lexus Safety System +. In addition, the electronic braking system has been optimized, and the control of the 10-speed automatic transmission has also been improved.

On versions with a V8 engine, a expert mode allows traction control to be turned off for improved gliding on the track. In the hybrid version of the 500h, the lithium-ion battery is equipped with cells of a larger capacity, which improves performance and response speed.

News technical changes also appear at the level of coil springs, shock absorbers, rear suspension arms, stabilizer bar, underbody reinforcement, steering column and steering box mounts, axle hub bearing, wheel mounts, and front engine mounts. Improvements to provide better dynamic behavior.
