President Klaus Iohannis convened a meeting of the Supreme Council of Defense of the country (SSAT) on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. in the Kotrochen Palace, and among the topics of the agenda are the development of the security situation in the Black Sea, in the context of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and external interventions in the Republic of Moldova, as well as concepts of the development of the Romanian military aviation.

As reported by the Presidential Administration, President Klaus Iohannis has called a meeting of the Supreme Council of National Defense, which will be held on Tuesday, starting at 10:00 a.m., in the Kotrochen Palace.

“The agenda of the Council meeting includes topics related to the development of the security situation in the Black Sea region in the context of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and external interference in the democratic process in the Republic of Moldova. The concept of the development of the Romanian military aviation will also be analyzed,” said the press release of the Presidential Administration.

At the meeting of the Council, other urgent issues in the field of national security will be considered, the source informs.
