Argesh FC took another step towards direct relegation to the second division after a 1-0 defeat at Botosani in the third round of the Super League play-offs.

Even if the arrival of Bohdan Vintil was supposed to change the face of the team, Argesh FC suffered a fourth consecutive defeat, having already collected 17 games without a win in the Super League.

The last success of Pitesti in the current season happened almost six months ago, in the match against UTA in the 16th round of the regular season.

The only goal in the game was scored in the 62nd minute by goalkeeper Sebastian Mailat, who intercepted and sent Dragu’s deep pass into the goal.

With this win, FC Botosani are in third position in the play-offs and seem to have managed to avoid relegation worries for the time being.
