Navy USA announced today that a guided missile nuclear submarine is operating in Middle East in support of the US Fifth Fleet based in Bahrain.

USS Florida entered the area Thursday and began transit through the Suez Canal, the commander said in a statement. Timothy Hawkins.

“It can carry up to 154 missiles. cruise “Tomahawk” (…) and deployed as part of the 5th Fleet to ensure regional security and stability at sea, ”notes Hawkins.
