What YouTube explores one new scam an email in which users receive messages from an apparently genuine account.

The company is warning users to be especially careful following reports of a phishing campaign aimed at informing them of a “new monetization policy” and “new rules.”

Emails sent from an email address [email protected], they ask users to click a link for more information, warning them that if they don’t review the changes within seven days, their account will be restricted.

YouTube has stated that its teams are investigating fraudulent emails.
