
Ministry of Defence USA announced today a new military aid package Ukraine, estimated cost $2.6 billionwhich includes missiles Patriot And artillery ammunition.
The United States will immediately supply Ukraine with $500 million worth of arms and ammunition, with the remaining $2.1 billion going to defense industry orders, according to a Pentagon press release.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine will also receive missiles for HIMARS launchers, various types of ammunition and spare parts for weapons systems.
The new package brings the cost of U.S. military aid to Ukraine since the start of the Russian invasion on February 24, 2022, to $35.1 billion.
This announcement coincided with Finland’s historic entry into NATO after decades of neutrality.
