A short video clip appeared on social media, showing how the Ukrainian military is holding on to Bakhmut, using military mine equipment to wreak havoc on the Wagner group’s troops.
The image shows a Soviet demining device or an American equivalent that was provided to the Ukrainians.
“A demining line charge (MCLC or MICLIC) is used, which is essentially a ‘rope’ of explosives pulled by a missile, launched over a minefield to clear a path,” said a post accompanying the image.
However, here the “explosive rope” is dropped on the enemy’s position, and the footage shows that the effect was devastating.
