
The Russian Interior Ministry has added a woman to its wanted list in the murder of prominent Russian military blogger Vladlen Tatarsky, whom Russian media has named as a suspect. According to Interfax, the incident occurred yesterday, on Sunday, in a cafe on the street. Saint Petersburg.
A woman named Daria Trepova has been named by some Russian online outlets as a suspect, although the Interior Ministry did not mention Tatarsky’s murder on its website.
A bomb exploded in the cafe where the victim was staying, killing himself and injuring 32 people, ten of them seriously.

A senior Russian official blamed the attack on Ukraine without providing evidence to support his claim. Adviser to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, on the contrary, spoke of “domestic terrorism” that is destroying Russia.
Tatarsky, whose real name is Maksim Fomin, had more than 560,000 followers on Telegram and was one of the most famous military bloggers, where he defended Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, although he often blamed high-ranking Russian military officials for it.

TASS, citing an unnamed source, said the bomb was hidden in a small figurine presented to Tatarsky during a speech in a cafe.
The Mash Telegram channel, which is linked to Russian law enforcement agencies, posted a video showing Tatarsky being offered a statuette of a soldier. According to the same source, the explosion occurred a few minutes later.

Moscow blames Kyiv and Navalny
Moscow claims that Kyiv, with the connivance of supporters of imprisoned dissident Alexei Navalny, orchestrated and carried out the attack that killed Tatarsky.
“It turned out that the terrorist act committed on April 2 in St. Petersburg (…) was planned by the Ukrainian special services, who recruited agents from among the accomplices of the alleged Anti-Corruption Fund,” the banned organization of imprisoned dissident Alexei Navalny said, according to the National Anti-Terrorism Committee of Russia, citing in the name of the main suspect, who was arrested and is in custody, Daria Trepova.
