A wild class bowling incident during recess took place on Friday morning (March 31) at a private school in the Northern Suburbs.
Six students, five boys and one girl, first immobilized a 15-year-old classmate and then threw fishing line around his neck and the rest of his body.
When the perpetrators left the room, the 15-year-old removed the fishing line from his neck and body, went to the school infirmary for first aid, but did not report the attack he received from the six minors, according to ERT.
When he returned home to Mesogeia, his mother saw the abrasions on his neck, and so the minor revealed to her the “nightmare” in which he lived.
His parents immediately reported the incident to the police on Friday evening, and the investigation was transferred to the Attica Security Department for Juvenile Affairs. The 15-year-old described the attack, identified the perpetrators and testified that the same team had beaten him on other occasions.
The police found three boys and a girl in their homes, who were arrested. The students admitted that they were present at the incident, and named two of their classmates as guilty, who were not detained within the auto-forum.
By oral order of the prosecutor, four children were released. A 15-year-old teenager was examined by a medical examiner who found superficial injuries to his neck.
The sub-department of juvenile affairs opened a criminal case against six minors who are accused of indecent acts as an accomplice and, as a result, infliction of dangerous bodily harm, as well as unlawful violence as an accomplice.
