Dan Petrescu is waiting for the end of the Super League season to decide on his future

Dan Petrescu’s contract with CFR Cluj runs until the summer of 2024, and Nelutu Varga has already prepared a new offer for the Romanian technician.

The owner of CFR Cluj wants Dan Petrescu to sign a new deal that runs until the summer of 2029 as they try to attack the UEFA Champions League groups together.

Instead, Dan Petrescu is in no hurry to sign a new contract with the Romanian champion. Badger wants to finish the current season and then make a decision about his future.

This aspect was emphasized by Dan Petrescu at the press conference before the game with the University of Craiova in the second stage of the playoffs.

“We haven’t signed anything, for now we’re focused on this champion, we’ll see what happens in the summer. In any case, I still have a contract until 2024. If I don’t win the championship, maybe he won’t be happy (no boss), we’ll see what happens.” – said SuperDan, reports Digi Sport.
