Max Verstappen threatens to leave Formula 1 if the bosses add new events to the calendar

After a fairly successful start to the season, with a win in the first stage and a second place in the second stage, Max Verstappen is very annoyed by the rumors in Formula 1.

In particular, the leaders of Formula 1 are considering the possibility of introducing new sprint competitions into the calendar.

The idea belongs to Stefano Domenicali, who believes that such a modification will increase the spectacle and attract even more fans.

In any case, there will be a meeting between the pilots where a decision will be made regarding this situation.

The loudest was the champion Max Verstappen, who even threatened to withdraw from the track in case of further changes.

“I just agree to the main race. I think it’s better for the show. I really hope that there will not be many changes. Otherwise, you won’t see me for a long time.” – added the Red Bull pilot, reports Thesportrush.

According to the Formula 1 calendar, the first race with sprint tests will be Azerbaijan, which will take place on April 28-30.

Other sprints confirmed for 2023 include the Austrian Grand Prix (June 30-July 2), Belgian Grand Prix (July 28-30), Qatar Grand Prix (October 6-8), American Grand Prix (20 . -October 22) and at the Brazilian Grand Prix (November 3-5).
