PASOK: Polls are problematic

In the pool of undecided votes, they have focused their attention on Harilaou Trikoupis, and new polls released over the past few days confirm his poll fatigue. PASOK.

From his staff Nikos Androulakis according to their estimates, several days should pass, and the next wave of public opinion measurements will begin, which will also include the reaction of the electoral base to the position of Nikos Androulakis regarding the candidate for the post of prime minister.

In any case, PASOK President’s associates emphasize that the stabilization of undecided votes at a high percentage indicates that a significant part of the voters are waiting for substantial proposals, programs and plans and do not give in to the vote, populism and demagogy. “Therefore, in our first election campaign, which has already been launched online, we are putting in the element of anger that certainly exists in citizens, and asking them to use it creatively, to live out their opposition to what makes them angry, to talk to us, to listen to our suggestions and share your observations,” says the head of PASOK.

Dublin Overview

Speaking at the Star Forum yesterday, Mr. Androulakis focused on the central issues of current affairs and the pre-election debate.

In the pool of undecided voices, they focus their attention on Chara. Trikoupi – N. Androulakis intensifies his appearances on television.

With regard to the Evros fence, he stressed that the PASOK government had started its construction. However, he added that the border security measures should be combined with a revision of the Dublin Treaty so that the first host country is not responsible for those who enter Europe, there is a burden sharing.

Referring to the prospect of partnership after the election, he reiterated that his party is demanding a strong percentage from citizens so that it can negotiate “from a position that can guarantee what we say before the election.”

In the coming days, PASOK President Mr. Androulakis will increase his television appearances because, according to his colleagues, “he is the one who can better reach citizens and increase PASOK voter mobilization.”

Constituencies

Despite the stagnation in the composition of the party according to public opinion polls, in Harilau Trikoupi there is a significant increase in the percentage in several constituencies. They talk about “large double digit percentages” in Crete, Achaia, Chalkidiki, Dodecanese, i.e. in the districts where, as they explain, PASOK has roots and a strong political tradition, while ballot reception, upwards, is very positive. Ballots in Larissa and Trikala are also considered particularly competitive, and Ioannina also has positive examples, but the picture remains difficult in Attica, where the weight will be given to the final stretch for the May 21 elections.
