Procedure and supporting documents
The order of next of kin begins with the spouse (also applies to cohabitants), followed by the eldest child – if over 18 and has a bank account – until, if there is no adult child, assistance will be given to the father of the deceased . If this is not possible, then material support is provided to the mother. If the deceased was a minor, then assistance will go to the parent in whose custody he was. The application must be accompanied by a medical certificate of death, a certificate of marital status (or guarantors of relatives), IVAN (indicating the name of the recipient from the bank) and an identity card (or passport).
