According to information, the man was being treated alone in the ward of the First Orthopedic Clinic, when, under circumstances that are being investigated, a fire broke out near the hospital bed. He immediately began to call for help, and the clinic staff and passers-by rushed into the ward.

With the use of fire extinguishers, it was possible to limit the fire, while the patient was immediately taken out and transferred to another room in the hospital to treat his burns, as well as to continue his hospitalization.

At the same time, the fire department rushed to the hospital and brought the fire under control completely so that there was no danger to other areas of the hospital.

The investigation department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is engaged in finding out the causes of the fire in the hospital ward, which suffered great damage.
