After the Tennessee school massacre, the President of the United States Joe Biden emphasized today that most Americans oppose assault rifle ownership, defending gun control initiatives.
“Most Americans consider owning assault rifles weird, absurd. They oppose it,” he said, answering questions from reporters about yesterday’s bloodshed at a school in Nashville, Tennessee.
A 28-year-old former student of the Covenant School, armed with two machine guns and a pistol, broke into the school and killed three 9-year-old children and three adults, after which he was shot dead by police.
