Sorana Kirstya, BIG 3 in women’s tennis and a match with Aryna Sabalenko

Sorana has knocked out big names on the circuit in the US (Indian Wells and Miami Open) and is confident that she can also get a good result against Australian Open champion Aryna Sabalenko.

“In my opinion, I think that now we have a great trio with Svyatek, Sabalenka and Rybakina. They play perfectly. I think it’s great to see the matchup between the two week after week. They certainly took tennis to a new level this year.

I know it will be very difficult. But I have won many matches on this American court and I am very confident. I know I can play” – Sorana Kirstea for WTA.

Sorana Kirstea and the recipe for recent success

“Confidence grows with each victory. I knew that Marketa Vondrousova is an awkward player, a very tenacious player. At the same time, I felt that the match was in my hands. At important moments, the service helped me, kept me there or got me out of difficult situations.

I worked so hard to be here. The last few months have been tough, both physically and mentally. It is not easy to work day in and day out and not see results. I continued to believe in what I was doing with Thomas (Johansson). I’m happy because you see the results and most importantly you see the progress in the game” – Sorana Kirstea for DigiSport.
