
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy appeared today in the Zaporozhye region, where he met with the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi.
“Zaporozhye region. Front row seats. It is a great honor for me to be here today, next to our soldiers,” Zelensky wrote on his Telegram account, accompanying the message with a video in which he distributes medals to soldiers.
“Thank you for protecting our state and all of us. Thank you for protecting our homes, our territorial integrity and life in Ukraine,” the Ukrainian president said in a statement.
Last week, Zelenskiy traveled to Kherson region, partly occupied by Russia, after traveling near Bakhmut, the epicenter of the fighting in eastern Ukraine, as well as Kharkiv region.
According to the Ukrainian President, Zelensky today went to the headquarters of the operational group of troops in the Zaporozhye region. There he took part in a meeting with military officials of the district, the same source said.
Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Rafael Grossi today met with the President of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye region and discussed the situation at the nuclear power plant occupied by the Russian military.
Two also visited the site of the hydroelectric power station on the Dnieper, which supplies the nuclear power plant.
