The qualifiers for Euro 2024 continued on Sunday, with favorites England, Italy and Portugal easily winning the matches in which they started as favourites. The score of the first match belonged to Iceland, who won 7-0 in Liechtenstein.

Denmark suffered a surprise defeat after leading 2-0 at half-time in Kazakhstan. The home side turned the score around in just 16 minutes, staying in limbo and dominating.

England decided the match against Ukraine in the first half. Gareth Southgate’s side scored in the 37th and 40th minutes thanks to Harry Kane and Bukayo Saku.

And Portugal showed their strength in Luxembourg, in a game refereed by Romanian Radu Petrescu, scoring four times in just 22 minutes. Cristiano Ronaldo scored in the 9th and 31st minutes, in addition to goals from Joao Felix in the 15th minute and Bernardo Silva in the 18th minute. Finally, Otavio in the 77th minute and Rafael Leao in the 89th minute, after as he also missed a penalty, the gig was over.

The Italians were not very tired on the trip from Malta. Matteo Reteghi in the 15th minute and Matteo Pessina in the 27th minute marked the success of the team coached by Roberto Mancini.
