Putin: “We are not forming a military alliance with China”

Russia and China are not forming a military alliance, Russian President Vladimir Putin assured in a TV interview today, noting that military cooperation between the two countries is transparent.

“We are not forming a military alliance with China,” Putin said, according to the Interfax news agency. “Yes, we are cooperating in the military-technical sphere. We do not hide this. Everything is transparent, there is no secret,” he added.

On the contrary, according to the Russian president, Western countries, the US and NATO are trying to create more global alliances.

“It is precisely for this reason that Western analysts say — it’s not we who say it, it’s them who say it — that the West is beginning to form a new axis, similar to the one that was created in the 1930s by the fascist regimes of Germany and Italy and militaristic Japan,” Putin said. .
