In the video, which was first published on Telegram and then shared on Twitter, the “star” is the Katyusha rocket launcher from the 1940s, a weapon that, due to its shape and the sounds it makes when fired, has been nicknamed “Stalinist”. Authority”.

The head of the convoy is a very old 1930s Zis-6 truck, the other trucks look like 1950s Zis-151s, and one of them fires a gun that looks very much like a 130mm M1954 from the 50s.

It is currently unclear where the video was filmed, but it comes at a time when the Russians, while saying their arms industry is doing well, are resorting to increasingly outdated military equipment to fight in Ukraine.

Recently, the Moscow army became more active and began to send Soviet tanks of the T-54/55 family, produced since the 1940s, to the front.

Then a wave of irony appeared in the public space, some assumed that it was worth using the “ancient” T-34 tanks.

However, Moscow propaganda took this option seriously, Volodymyr Solovyov said that if necessary, all T-34s that have become monuments will be removed from their pedestals and an armored division will be created to be sent to the front.
