
A number of 16 Lufthansa flights to Munich and Frankfurt will be canceled on Sunday and Monday due to a strike at German airports.
“The VER.DI trade union called for a one-day strike at several airports in Germany. This applies to flights from Timisoara to and from Frankfurt Airport on Monday, March 27, to and from Munich Airport on Sunday, March 26 and Monday, March 27,” Timisoara airport officials said on Saturday, as quoted by News.ro.
Therefore, 14 flights from Timisoara to and from Munich on March 26 and 27 will be affected, as well as 2 other flights to and from Frankfurt, specifically flights from March 27.
“Tomorrow, the flight from Frankfurt will land at 11:55, and the departure to Frankfurt is scheduled for 12:30,” the source said.
Affected passengers will be informed of any changes by Lufthansa.
