The Highways Brigade reports that traffic restrictions will be introduced in the central part of the city this weekend in connection with events.

A rally will be organized on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This is “March for Life 2023”.

So, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. it is planned to gather the participants in the alleys of Unirii Park – the fountain area, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. they will move along the I lane along the route Piaţa Unirii – st. Bibescu-Vode Street – Dimitrie Cantemira Boulevard – Tineretului Park – Gheorghe Shinkai entrance, between 13.30 – 16.30 the public meeting will take place in the alleys of the Youth Park – Gheorghe Shinkai entrance. From 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the departure of the participants will take place.

The sports event “Legal Half Marathon 2023” will be held on Sunday from 07:00 to 14:00.

The route will run between Uniri Boulevard (Bucharest Court) – Uniri Square – 180 degree turn (without affecting traffic at the intersection) – Uniri Boulevard – National Library – Mircea Vode Boulevard – return to Pasaj Mărăşeşti – Uniri Boulevard – Alba Iulia Square – Decebal Boulevard – Delea Noua Street – return to Decebal Boulevard – end at Bucharest Court.

For the smooth conduct of the event, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., traffic restrictions will be imposed on the specified route and on the streets approaching it.
