A 10-year-old girl from the Amaliada district was taken to the Caramandeio Children’s Hospital of Patras, who, according to police, has a carbine shrapnel wound on her leg, but her life is not in danger. .

With regard to the chronology of the case, according to the police, the 10-year-old girl was with her 14-year-old brother at their home in Agios Ioannis Amaliadas, and under circumstances still unknown, the girl was wounded in the leg by shrapnel.

Immediately afterwards, the 10-year-old girl was taken to the Amaliada hospital, where, after receiving first aid, it was considered necessary to transfer her to Caramandanio.

According to APE, the police are continuing their investigation to determine how exactly the carbine wounded the girl, as well as who owns the weapon.
