A 40-year-old man in Thessaloniki can claim the title of “unrepentant thief”.

According to APE, the police handcuffed him, as he is accused of “punch a hole” through the window in the dining room of the hospital “G. Gennimatas – Agios Dimitrios” and took out the amount of 500 euros from the desk drawer.

However, he left his personal documents at the scene of the incident, so after a while he decided to return for them, having previously changed clothes.

A canteen employee thought he was suspicious and called the police, causing him to be detained and clothes with cash were also found. A knife was also found on him.
