Simona Halep wants to participate in the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024

Simona was banned from the WTA tournament for almost seven months after failing an anti-doping test at the 2022 US Open.

In anticipation of the trial and verdict, Halep recently published a photo showing her preparing for the clay season – the most important competitions will be held in Charleston (April 3 – 9), Stuttgart (April 17 – 23), Madrid (April 25 – May 7), Rome (May 9 – 20) and Roland Garros (May 28 – June 11).

Cosmin Khodor, former manager of the athlete and a close friend of Simona, notes in an intervention on Digi FM the reason why Halep does not consider the end of her sports career: she wants to participate in the Olympic Games in Paris, starting from the summer of 2014. 2024.

“I’m sure that somewhere in her phone book, the Olympics is written there, and she will need to put a green checkmark on it. I think that this is an additional motivation and it is very important that it will happen. She deserves to continue playing and represent Romania at the Olympics.

Because that’s not what’s happening to him. Someone at some point can answer and must take responsibility. She doesn’t deserve what’s happening to her right now, and no one can take away all her matches, everything she’s done, and her entire career for what’s happening right now. No one!

She was two years old when you woke her up at night, she would hit anyone, go and go back to sleep.

Maybe then he accidentally lost some matches that had extra pressure or stakes. Or something happened that day.

But let’s not forget the semifinals at Roland Garros where she beat Muguruza when Muguruza was in the top 5.

Let’s not forget the Roland Garros final, which she returned then, in 2018, not to mention the semi-final in 2019 at Wimbledon, with Svitolina.” – Kosmin Hodoron Digi FM.
