Paschalis Lampardis lives and works in Thessaloniki. He studied psychology as well as postgraduate studies in clinical and social psychology. His new novel, The Trial of Life (published by Armos), is about the release of a man from the prisons of his childhood.

The main message is to choose life at its best. Let’s not let father and mother become a monster that will haunt us all our lives. The book invites everyone to reflect on the role they play in their lives and helps them break free from children’s prisons.

Our attitude to events plays a role. The way you think matters. Whatever happens in our lives, pleasant or unpleasant, we must use it for our common good. And this means to learn lessons from any circumstances, to develop and no longer put off in life. We are above our problems!

As I mention in my book, we have three options: either we stay in the same position and sink more and more, or we are forced to submit to fate and wherever it takes us, or we follow the path of happiness, which looks like a beautiful red rose full of thorns.
