On March 22 and 23, in Bucharest, Romania will host a high-level meeting on ways to ensure human resources in the field of health care, organized by the WHO European Regional Office and the relevant ministry of our country.
According to a press release sent by the Ministry of Health, the meeting will be attended by ministers, state secretaries, heads of personnel departments and industry experts from the European region of the World Health Organization.
“The high-level meeting will be an opportunity for Member States to develop human resource strategies to ensure the sustainability of health care systems, given that non-communicable diseases and aging populations demand more and more resources. The adoption in Bucharest of the Joint Declaration on Human Resources for Health Care would be a good opportunity for policy coordination in this area at the European level,” the quoted source said.
