Mykonos: an archaeologist’s colleague was threatened with a text message

The Association of Greek Archaeologists has resorted to prosecuting extortionists after threats received by an archaeologist dealing with Mykonos.

According to a new complaint, the archaeologist received a threatening SMS from an unknown number.

The archaeologist informed the Association of Greek Archaeologists and, together with President Despina Koutsumba, turned to the criminal prosecution of extortionists and then to TA. Kypselis, where he filed a lawsuit for threat to life, slander and insult.

Speaking to K last week, the archaeologist of the Ephorate of Antiquities of the Cyclades, Manolis Psarros, stated that “I will not ask for a transfer in order to go somewhere else and have peace of mind. I want to stay in my ephorate, but I want to go down to Mykonos and do my job safely. I don’t want neither me nor my family to be afraid.”
