
Russian troops fired four Kh-59 missiles at the southern Ukrainian city of Odesa on Tuesday evening, the head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, said, as quoted by the Kyiv Independent.
According to Yermak, Ukrainian air defense shot down two missiles, but two others hit the city, damaging a three-story building and injuring three people.
The damaged building is located on the territory of a local monastery, the official added.
Russia used Su-35 fighter jets to launch Kh-59 surface-to-surface guided missiles over the Black Sea city of Odesa, the Ukrainian Air Force reports.
She confirmed that she had knocked down two of them.
