This subsidiary of the British oil giant, originally founded in the United Kingdom, is preparing to export throughout Europe and settle in the French market thanks to a collaboration with Falsburg companya French private real estate company specializing in commercial real estate.
BP Pulse: More than 25 new stations by 2025
The two companies plan to launch more than 25 new ultra-fast charging stations for electric cars until 2025. These locations will be located in shopping centers located on the outskirts of major French cities and near major highways. In this way, BP Pulse and Compagnie de Phalsbourg will contribute to the creation of a reliable and accessible charging infrastructure throughout France.
To give you an idea of future locations, Compagnie de Phalsbourg is notably behind the shopping centers L’Atoll Angers (49), Waves Actisud in Metz (57), Ma petite Madelaine in Chambre-les-Tours (37), The Village in Villefontaine (38), Mon Grand Plaisir (78), Mon Beau Buchelay (78), Alpha Park in Clayes-sous-Bois (78) or La Croix Blanche in Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois (91).
“France is a key market for us as we continue to expand our presence in Europe. We are delighted to be working with an innovative company like Compagnie de Phalsbourg to bring our charging solutions to the French market, and we look forward to playing a role in France’s transition to carbon-free transport.”said Stefan von Dobschütz, managing director of BP Pulse in Europe.
BP Pulse: 300 kW high-speed terminals
Each of these new charging stations will be equipped with super fast charging pointswith a capacity of 300 kW. Thus, users of electric and hybrid cars will be able to recover up to 160 km of autonomy in 15 minutes to quickly and easily charge their vehicles during purchase.
This project is part of the environmental development program of the Compagnie de Phalsbourg, which involves the installation more than 1000 electric charging stations in its car parks, as well as 100,000 m² of photovoltaic panels, in particular for their supply, supporting shopping center visitors in their transition to electric mobility.
BP Pulse and Compagnie de Phalsbourg expect the first stations to be operational until the end of the current year 2023.
