With a hearing from former, former and current Ministers of Infrastructure and Transportation on the progress and development of the 717 Remote Control – Railway Signaling contract, the Tempe Tragedy Committee on Institutions and Transparency meeting began today.

The former Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Konstantinos Ach was invited to the committee. Karamanlis, former Ministers Christos Spircis and Michalis Chrysokhoidis, and Minister of State for Infrastructure and Transport Giorgos Gerapetritis, in accordance with Articles 43A and 41A of the Rules of Procedure of Parliament.

The deputy groups have begun to replace the deputies – permanent members of the commission.

In particular, from the ND, the deputy member of the commission Kostas Tsavaras replaced Dimitris Kairides. In SYRIZA, Pavlos Polakis, Spyros Lappas and Theophilos Xanthopoulos were replaced respectively by Yiannis Ragusis, Nikos Pappa and Christos Giannoulis. From the KKE, Christos Katsotis was appointed to replace Manolis Sintihakis.

At the beginning of the meeting, it is planned to raise procedural questions on the procedure for organizing hearings for the former, former and current ministers, on summoning other persons on the same issue and on continuing consideration of the issue.
