Alcaraz took advantage of Nole’s absence, won the tournament in the California desert for the first time in his career and scored 7,420 points (the Serb had 7,160).

This week also marks the end of an all-time record for Rafael Nadal, with the Iberian leaving the ATP top 10 after 912 weeks.
