
OUR Greek police posted a promotion and placement announcement for EL.AS officers one day after the sudden a change in leadership and the appointment of Lieutenant General Lazaros Mavropoulos to the position of leader.
In particular, in order to fill vacant organizational positions, in accordance with the relevant Presidential Decree, the following were promoted:
In the rank of lieutenant general to cover the vacant organizational position of this rank, major general Nikolaos Spanoudakis.
In the rank of lieutenant general to cover the vacant organizational position of this rank brigadier general Vasilios Rokkos.
With the rank of brigadier general, to fill the vacant organizational position of this rank, director of police Konstantinos Halkias.
Subsequently, by decision of the Chief of the Greek Police, Lieutenant General Lazarus Mavropoulos, the following Lieutenant Generals of the Hellenic Police were appointed:
- George Duvalisas deputy corps commander,
- Eleftherios Garilasas Chief of Staff of the Hellenic Police.
- Spyridon Sklavosas Inspector General of the Police of Northern Greece,
- Nikolaos Spanoudakisas Inspector General of the Police of Southern Greece.
