Her direction Roulas Pispirigou in the trial of the deaths of her other two children, Malena and Irida, the prosecutor proposed a competent judicial council that would have the final say on whether the case would finally reach an audience.
The information says that the prosecutor asked the Judicial Council to charge the 34-year-old man with premeditated homicide in a calm state for the death of 3.5-year-old Malena and 6-month-old Irida.
With the same proposal, the prosecutor is also seeking an extension of the temporary detention of Rula Pispirigou, who is currently on trial at the United Jury in Athens for the murder and attempted murder of her first child, Georgina.
“Georgina was dead within 50 minutes,” Karamandanios’ nurse said.
It should be noted that the trial of Georgina’s death continued today with the testimony of a nurse from Karamandanio.
Eleftheria Petsava, who was on duty at Karamandanio on April 10 and 11, 2021, when Georgina was admitted, told the court about what preceded the dramatic incident, as a result of which the child became paralyzed.
“The baby was dead for fifty minutes,” testified a nurse at “Karamandanios,” who rushed to Georgina Daskalaki’s room when she had a seizure that left her paralyzed a year before her death.
Ms Petsava testified that when she went to her shift, the child had already been hospitalized two days before, on April 8, 2021. An eyewitness on examination said that Georgina’s clinical picture was good and did not indicate that she might have had such a development. “He was not a child to worry about,” he said characteristically.
“On Saturday, April 10, the mother called that the child had an attack. We ran to the doctors, and the child was in the middle of the bed and had a low saturation. The doctor called the child’s name to see if he would respond. The child recovered, he was given oxygen,” Ms. Petsava said about what happened the day before the action.
On Sunday, April 11, when Georgina failed, a witness said that at 7 pm she heard a call from the room where the child was with the mother, and went, thinking that it would be something simple: “When something happens serious, they go out into the corridor and shout. I saw my mother silently waving her hands at me. That’s when I realized it was something serious. The child was in the middle of the bed. He was pale and had no nasal oxygen. The monitor showed dashes. We did cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and after about 50 minutes, a weak pulse appeared on the monitor … The child had been dead for 50 minutes. He began to show up, and in appearance he was white. After 50-55 minutes, the monitor recorded a weak pulse,” he said.
The president asked the witness for an exact description of how she found Georgina, and she replied that “she was in the middle and closer to the foot of the bed. He was unconscious and in a panic.”
