Stefan Barboyanu (35 years old), former defender of Dynamo, University of Craiova, Astra, Petrolul and Kiaina, was invited to GSP Live. He received a challenge from moderator Kostin Stukan, namely to evaluate his former coaches.

The current second coach and player of CSM Reșita spoke favorably of Viktor Pitsurke. He also praised Jonutz Badea, who is now a television analyst. They worked together at Concordia Chiajna, and Barboianu revealed an unknown episode in which Badea deeply disturbed him with his behavior.

“The person who left the biggest mark on my career. He raised the level of training and requirements to another level, compared to what we were doing in Kraiów until that time. I was 20 years old, and I was trained by Viktor Pitsurka, a former breeder. For us, young people, it was already a shock.

He was perceived as a tough, closed coach. Totally wrong. When he arrived, he did not have much time to learn the fate. In the first training sessions, he didn’t even bother me. I came home and said: “My career in Craiova is almost over.” It was a problem for me, it was clear, I didn’t live up to his expectations,” Barboyanu said on GSP Live.
