The first Personal Assistants start working with citizens with disabilities

Starting today, citizens with disabilities can get a personal assistant of their choice, with the state providing up to €1,663 per month for a fee, in addition to the allowances and other benefits they already receive.

According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in a statement, already the first 176 citizens who have passed the assessment can log in with their passwords to the special platform prosopikosvoithos.gov.gr in order to:

– Find your preferred personal assistant in the personal assistant registry.

– provide your consent with the Personal Assistant so that you can start the paid service.

– see the result of the decision of the special evaluation commission,

– read the decision of the Organization for Social Benefits and Social Solidarity (OPEKA), according to which they are paid a certain amount of money, which they can use every month to pay their personal assistant.
