Olena Ostapenko advanced to the third round of the tournament in Indian Wells after beating Oleksandra Sasnovich in three sets on Friday.

The winner of Roland Garros-2017 won the first set with a score of 7-5, taking advantage of three lost services by the Belarusian player.

Also, after three lost sets, Ostapenko Sasnovych took the upper hand in the second set with a score of 6-3.

In the third set, Olena Ostapenko did not give many chances to the player, who is ranked 44th in the world, and won with a score of 6-2.

The match lasted two hours and seven minutes.

In the next round, the Latvian will meet the winner of Petra Kvitova (15 WTA) and Elizabeth Mandlik (155 WTA).
