Cyclists of the DI.AS team. The Direct Action Directorates of Thessaloniki immediately arrested two 24-year-old youths who wanted to steal car parts from a company operating in the Menemeni area.

In particular, early in the morning on Thursday (03.09) the above-mentioned men illegally entered the yard of the auto repair shop, but were noticed by the owner and disappeared, but were soon found in the Dialogi area. where they were detained.

From the police investigation of the Security Directorate of Ampelokipi – Menemeni, it turned out that the criminals had committed two burglaries in the past and together in a transport company, from where they took out batteries for trucks worth about 4,000 euros, while for one of those arrested, it appears that participation in six other cases of theft from companies while they were not working, from which he removed metal objects (for example, car frames and spare parts) totaling more than 40,000 euros.

Those arrested against whom a criminal case has been initiated will be brought before the competent judicial authority.
