Kim Rasmussen, the new coach of the champion Rapid Bucharest

The Giulesti-based group announced on Wednesday that they have secured the services of 50-year-old coach Kim Rasmussen.

“With more than 30 years of experience, the Danish technician has one of the most coveted Champions League trophies to his credit, won in 2016.

He was the coach of Poland, Hungary, Montenegro and South Korea.

As part of the Polish national team, he played 2 semi-finals at the World Championships in 2013 and 2015, taking 4th place in both.

He managed to qualify the Montenegrin national team for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

In 2022, he won the Asian Cup with the South Korean national team.

Kim was repeatedly nominated for the title of Coach of the Year by the International Handball Federation.
