Pele continues to surprise even after his death: the legendary football player noted in his will that he could have had another daughter, reports L’Equipe.

Pele allegedly had another unacknowledged daughter

If the DNA test confirms this, she will be entitled to part of the Brazilian’s fortune.

On Tuesday, lawyer Luis Quinel spoke about Pele’s will. According to him, 30% of the fortune belongs to the last wife of Pele Marcia Sibele Aoki. Among the bequeathed assets is the house in Guaruja, where they lived, as well as other real estate and part of the Pele brand.

The lawyer clarified that a full inventory of the property has not yet been conducted, so the total value of the inheritance is unknown.

Pele’s will mentions the possibility that the Brazilian star had another unacknowledged daughter who would have been entitled to a share of the remaining 70% of the estate. Pele has seven more children.

“He indicated the possibility of the existence of another daughter, the recognition of which would depend on a DNA test, which was not done due to the pandemic and Pele’s health” – lawyer Luis Kinielquoted by News.ro.

According to G1, in September 2022, a court in São Paulo ruled that Pele must undergo a DNA test. This will be done with one of the recognized children. This woman will be the eighth child of the legendary football player, who died on December 29 in Sao Paulo at the age of 82.
