The day the French feared so much had arrived. We are indeed on March 7, the day of the start of a new strike, this time declared by the workers to be renewed. Suffice it to say that the next few hours, or even perhaps the next few days, will be difficult for everyone while this movement paralyzes public transport, but not only. Indeed, refinery workers are also participating in the mobilization, which will logically affect the supply of service stations. What are motorists afraid of today, who do not want to relive the situation of last October.

40 million motorists defy the strikers
But the situation is also worrying the 40 million motorists who fear that a new strike will once again hold drivers hostage. His press secretary, Pierre Chassery, then spoke on the subject, which he describes as ” offensive“. He actually explains it I urge the government to find a solution and a compromise as soon as possible so that we do not suffer a blocking motoristsregardless of the reason“. This strike is for him demonstrates that the pressure is born precisely from the car, and therefore from travel. Indeed, blocking oil refineries, blocking motorists – that will have an impact“.
Oil refineries are already closed
We can only hope that we do not know a situation like in October, when sometimes we had to wait several hours at the service station to be able to fill up our tank. Be that as it may, experts want to calm things down, explaining that there is currently no fuel shortage. But this renewed strike may be extended over time if the government continues to turn a deaf ear.
