
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky he said tonight that top military leaders vowed to continue defending Bahamutwhen asked how they planned to handle the situation in the besieged city.
In his daily address, Zelensky said that at a meeting with the high command, he asked them how they propose to proceed.
“Both generals replied that it was necessary not to withdraw, but to strengthen” the defense, he stressed.
The military administration “unanimously supported this position. There were no other offers. I told the General Staff to find the appropriate forces to help our people in Bakhmut,” the President of Ukraine added in his video message, summing up: “No region of Ukraine can be abandoned» Russians.
