
Four contracts signed between 2005 and 2015 for railway network modernization projects The Financial Prosecutor’s Office has been investigating for several months which seeks criminal liability of public officials from ERGOSE, as a customer, as well as private individuals from contractors.
The investigation is looking for the possibility of offenses in it, such as infidelity and moral corruption, due to unfinished contracts, renewals and all the obstacles that essentially left a number of projects unfinished.
The four contracts are part of a network of assignments made for infrastructure and line security measures.
They are pursued by the Financial Prosecutor’s Office.
1. Contract of 2005 related to works on signaling the national network.
2. Two contracts in 2013 concerning integration projects and
3. 2015 contract for the ETCS remote control system.
The contracts concern different parts of the network. Contract 717, which was in the news in connection with remote control, as well as its extension or renewal, starting in 2014, was investigated by the Financial Prosecutor’s Office, as a result of which it was registered as not being evidence of the commission of the offense under investigation, there was an infidelity.
However, about a year ago, the case materials were removed from the archive in connection with the emergence of new information regarding the allocation of European funds, which is now being investigated by the European Prosecutor’s Office.
