
German drugmaker A. S. Shnitzer, based in Aachen, took a closer look at the latest break in Munich. there BMW M3 Touring is offered with a full package, and its inline-six gets a few extra horsepower.
Sublimated exterior design with some sporty applications
For cooking M3 Touring, AC Schnitzer delivered a slightly aesthetically redesigned sedan. But this applies not only to designer products. Indeed, most added pieces do much more than just add style! THE exhaust pipe for example, the integrated carbon rear diffuser also improves throttle flow, saving a few extra horsepower. THE splitter black front parts increase the downforce to 40 kg (at 200 km/h) and are complemented by front side wings. If the decorative elements of the wings and hood serve only to improve the aesthetics, the spoiler on the roof at the rear of the BMW M3 Touring increases the downforce value by 20 kg per 200 km/h.

Two different customization packages are available
To give the 3.0-liter biturbo inline-six even more power, two different tuning packages are available. The first increases power from 510 (375 kW) to 590 hp (434 kW). The torque increases from 650 to 750 Nm, if this is still not enough for you, you can choose the second option. This increases the total power to more than 610 hp. (449 kW)! And all this for a torque of 750 Nm.
For comparison, BMW M3 Touring AC Schnitzer more powerful than her older sister, the BMW M5 powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. It develops “only” 600 hp. (441 kW). Unfortunately, the drug does not provide updated acceleration or Vmax values. But it is certain that 3.6 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h and 280 km/h at Vmax are exceeded.
As for the chassis, the German tuner offers two options for the BMW M3 Touring. You can have either a set of springs for the front axle, which brings the car 15-20 millimeters closer to the ground, or a coilover suspension with adjustable compression and rebound. For the latter, the AC Schnitzer promises significantly higher cornering speed while remaining comfortable every day. Finally, 20-inch wheels with 285 tires in the front and 295 tires in the rear complete the setup.
Inside, there’s a sports steering wheel in perforated black nappa leather with Alcantara, and new, larger aluminum paddles can be ordered.
