As we all understand, the reasonable and fair demand of the Greek society is the immediate and deep clarification of all criminal cases related to the tragic railway accident in Tempi. To this end, on behalf of the Greek government in prioritizing relevant cases and assigning them, if you judge it, to the highest possible investigative level.
In particular, with regard to the criminal assessment of systemic errors in the railway sector, including any delay in completing the necessary technological upgrades of the relevant infrastructures, please proceed regardless of the progress of the work of the committee of experts appointed to carry out their assessment from an administrative and technical point of view.
When the committee’s work is completed, its findings will naturally be communicated to the angelic authorities conducting the investigation and become part of the case file.”
