A quick, hard failure that can be digested at home – Marko Dugandzic missed the penalty

Adrian Mutu’s side stumbled against Hermannstadt and narrowly lost 1-0 at the end of a match in which Giulio’s side controlled the game.

The guests scored the only goal in the game in the first half. Silviu Balaure restored the goal after a pass from Kelin Popescu (min. 32).

Rapid missed very big chances in the second half through Marko Dugandzic or Kostake, and even had a goal disallowed for offside.

A few minutes before the end, Kostas once again shot from the edge of the penalty area, but Letika was on the ball and saved without problems.

In extra time, Marko Dugandzic also missed from 11 meters. Letitsa guessed the angle.

Thanks to this victory, “Hermannstadt” scores 29 points and remains in 13th place after 29 rounds.

It has been 4 months since the last match in which Rapid did not score against Giulesti. It happened in the match of the Romanian Cup with “Farul Constanta” (2:0).
