Olympian and pan-Hellenic length record holder Niki Xantou played a crucial role in bringing the idea that Giorgos Pomaski and Miltos Tedoglu were to help the victims of the earthquake in Turkey.

The athlete immediately contacted her former coach and informed him that she was interested in buying Milto shoes in order to financially support children from the earthquake-affected areas of Turkey.

The procedures started immediately and through SEGAS, the amount collected by Niki Xantou, as well as the Greek food company, is already in the account indicated by the Turkish Ministry of the Interior.

Nicky Xantou stated on the SEGAS website: “The earthquake in Turkey has touched all Greeks and me personally. Seeing the scenes, in the early days, with people freed from the ruins, I felt a desire to help more actively.
