
The 40-year-old citizen was arrested on Wednesday morning (1/3) in Kalamata by officers from the Drug Prosecution Unit of the Kalamata Security Sub-Directorate for drug trafficking.
In particular, after a thorough police investigation by the Drug Prosecutor’s Office of the Kalamata Security Subdivision, it turned out that a 40-year-old man had been actively involved in drug trafficking (cannabis and narcotic pills) since at least September last year. ).
The 40-year-old, in order to cover up his illegal activities and divert the attention of the prosecutor’s office, used telephone connections that were stated not in his real data, but in the data of foreign citizens of third countries (“ghost faces”), and during his conversations with buyers they communicated catchphrases and a predefined agreement code.
As part of an organized police operation, a search was conducted in his house, during which the following were found and seized:
- amount of cannabis, total weight 7.95 grams,
- 77 drug pills
- 1 precision scale,
- 1 mobile phone as well
- 1 car and 1 motorcycle as means of committing criminal acts.
The arrested person will be taken to the Criminal Prosecutor’s Office of Kalamata, and the police investigation and preliminary investigation will be carried out by the Narcotics Division of the Kalamata Security Sub-Directorate.
