Clouds with intermittent rain are expected on Thursday. From noon, the rains will intensify and affect mainly the Ionian and continental parts of the country, with the exception of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.

Storms will occur from noon mainly in the Peloponnese, where hail is possible, in the Central and Western continents and in the Ionian Sea.

Snowfall is expected at altitudes above 1400 meters in Epirus, Thessaly, Central and Western Macedonia.

Dust concentrations in the atmosphere will increase mainly in the west and south, mudflows will occur in some places.

The temperature with a slight decrease, according to the meteorological service of the National Observatory of Athens, will fluctuate in Western Macedonia from 3 to 11 degrees Celsius, in the rest of Macedonia and Thrace from 4 to 14, in Thessaly from 8 to 14, in Epirus from 5 to 16, Sterea 7 to 19, Peloponnese 6 to 17, Ionian Islands 8 to 15, North Aegean 8 to 17, East Aegean 11 to 21, Cyclades 11 to 18, Dodecanese 9 to 21 and in Crete from 10 to 18 degrees Celsius.

The wind in the northern part of the Aegean will blow from the northeast with a force of 3 to 5, and in some places up to 6 on the Beaufort scale. In the Central and Southern parts of the Aegean Sea, winds will blow from the north with a force of 3 to 5, and in some places up to 6 on the Beaufort scale. In the Ionian Sea, the winds will blow in variable directions from 2 to 4 Beaufort, and in the afternoon to the south up to 5 Beaufort.

Weather in Attica

Clouds are expected in Attica, temporary and light rains are possible in the north of the prefecture. The wind will be from the north from 2 to 4 on the Beaufort scale. The concentration of dust in the atmosphere will be relatively high. The temperature in the center of Athens will range from 12 to 19 degrees Celsius.
